Established in Montclair, NJ, in 1993, Harvard Studio specializes in on-location and studio commercial and editorial photography. We create color and custom black-and-white images in digital and on film in 35mm and medium formats.
The face behind the camera is Steve Hockstein, a 1986 graduate of the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences at Rochester Institute of Technology. Steve began his career as a photojournalist with The Star-Ledger and The Record , two of New Jersey's largest daily newspapers. Since founding Harvard Studio, Steve's client list has grown to include major medical centers, universities, advertising and public relations agencies, and regional and national magazines and trade publications.
